How credits work
1 credit covers $0.01 of AI usage cost, calculated from the model and tokens used. A session using $1 of AI costs 100 credits. AI replies and attempted work use credits; hosting, backups and updates are included in your plan.

Do I need a credit card to try OffPress?
No. Every new account starts with 500 free credits. AI work uses those credits at the actual usage rate. Enter payment details when you choose a plan or buy a top-up.
What do credits actually pay for?
Credits cover the AI's work: each edit you ask for, each full redesign, and each task Dispatch runs for you — a blog post, an SEO fix, a social post, a newsletter send, a support reply, and so on. Hosting, backups and updates are always included in your plan and never cost credits. AI session replies are metered by their usage.
Can I control how much Dispatch spends?
Yes. Every task starts as “ask first”, so nothing runs without your go-ahead. When you're comfortable, you can let specific kinds of task run automatically within a monthly budget you set — so Dispatch keeps working without ever overspending.
Does hosting cost credits?
No. Your monthly plan covers hosting, backups, and updates. Credits are only spent on AI work — edits, Dispatch tasks, and additional full builds.
What happens if I run out of credits?
Your hosted site stays online while your hosting plan is active. Running work settles its actual AI usage; new paid work pauses if your balance is exhausted. Buy a top-up, renew, or upgrade your plan to add credits.
Do unused credits roll over?
Plan credits last for the current billing month plus two additional months. We use credits that expire soonest first. Changing plans does not extend existing expiry dates. Purchased top-up credits do not expire.
Can I change or cancel my plan?
Yes. You can upgrade, downgrade, or cancel anytime from your dashboard. Your sites stay live through the period you've paid for.
